Maruti Suzuki has quietly updated its mid-size sedan offering with the launch of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Known for its spacious cabin and smooth drive, the new Ciaz now comes with subtle design changes, new tech features, and improved fuel efficiency—making it a strong option for those looking for a practical yet premium family car.

Refreshed Design with a Premium Touch

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz continues with its elegant silhouette but now looks a bit more modern. Up front, there’s a new grille design, slimmer LED headlamps with DRLs, and a revised bumper that gives it a cleaner appearance. The side profile stays unchanged, but you do get fresh 16-inch alloy wheels and new dual-tone colour options. At the rear, the tail lamps have been slightly tweaked to look sharper, adding to the sedan’s overall classy look.

Updated Features & Cabin Experience

Step inside, and you’ll notice the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz feels a bit more upmarket now. It gets a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a semi-digital instrument cluster that adds to the driving experience.

Other features include automatic climate control, push-button start, rear AC vents, and a 6-speaker sound system. The rear seat remains one of the most spacious in its segment, offering great comfort for long journeys.

Same Reliable Engine, Better Efficiency

Under the hood, the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sticks to its trusted 1.5-litre K15 Smart Hybrid petrol engine, which produces around 105 PS and 138 Nm of torque. You get a choice between a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque converter automatic.

Where the Ciaz really impresses is mileage. Maruti claims the 2025 model delivers up to 22.8 km/l, thanks to tweaks in the mild-hybrid setup and overall weight optimisation.

Safety & Price

Safety features now include 6 airbags in the top variants, ESC, hill hold assist, and rear parking camera with sensors. While it may not be the sportiest sedan around, it ticks the right boxes when it comes to everyday driving and peace of mind.

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is priced between ₹9.50 lakh and ₹12.90 lakh (ex-showroom). If you’re in the market for a no-nonsense, comfortable, and fuel-efficient sedan, the new Ciaz continues to make a solid case for itself.
